Time off booked; now where do we go?

Scotland. The NC500 was the obvious choice, but in the space of 5 days, the notion of spending a day each to get there and back from middle England left us with just 3 days to complete the run.

Sure enough, it’s doable within that time frame. But it’d feel like we’d rushed through it for the sake of it, forgoing enough stoppage time for it be an enjoyable experience.

So what did we map out? Loch Lomond.

Taking 5 hours to get there was more than enough. So we packed up the Fiesta and Focus and off we went.
