Intro:
It’s pretty cool when a car seen in a Bond film ends up on the drive. The XJ for once wasn’t the bad guys choice in Skyfall, and although it’s not an Aston, it’s quite an upgrade from the Mondeo we’d previously had seen in Casino Royale!
We’ve got a slightly different take from yours truly this time with the XJ, the urge to record sounds on shaky videos had diminished and the focus was pretty much spent on the interior – especially from the back seats.
This is the top-of-the-range Ultimate model; and while I wasn’t sure if Jaguar XJ’s went beyond £100k new, it turns out this particular model retailed at…£122,000.
So, this is stark contrast to those days on the back seats of a Rover 100 then!
