For the first (and probably last) time in our lives, we found ourselves bestowed with the Renault range down Stow Circuit at Silverstone.

“The Wind is the most surprising fun out here”.

I’m not convinced.   It might be based on the Twingo RenaultSport (which again, is based on the previous Mk2 Clio),  but I’m not explaining that every time.  Especially after the fart jokes that naturally come with mentioning the name.

Renault Wind...or Twingo 133?
Renault Wind…or Twingo 133?

Unsurprisingly the Clio 200 was instantly snapped up,  and so we had the rest of the non-Renaultsport range to pick from (even a diesel Megane in estate guise).   Or so I thought. By pure luck from requesting a Twingo, I was led towards the back of the pack where, sat lurking in the crowd hidden by it’s bigger brothers, was this Twingo 133 Cup. Result!
