Driving position is pretty much perfect with ample adjustment. The seats go low enough, the dials are clear, controls are uncluttered and easy to find. This auto version brings an extra centre readout in between the dials indicating which gear you’re in too.

No complaints about boot space or visibility. Passenger space is great all round, I don’t know that many tall people though so check the rear headroom! The rear seats themselves have decent thigh support and the backrest isn’t too upright for long journeys. Half leather seats are standard; but we went for the full leather + heated option with a drivers-only electric seat. They’ve been a bit of a disappointment on longer journeys really, with a numb bum and lower backache after 2 hours from the lack of lumbar support up front.

In Titanium trim we have: Auto lights/wipers, a Sony head unit + 8 punchy speakers, Auto-dimming rear view mirror, and all round electric windows. There’s also a small storage area on the top of the dash just above the two central vents.

The lack of Climate Control and Xenon’s was a surprise on this top of the range model, and although we have no Cruise Control; that does mean we keep the nicer, sportier 3-spoke steering wheel – avoiding the slightly old-man 4-spoke found on the Ghia model.
The auto-wipers are only partially helpful; they have a mind of their own some of the time. They’re easily confused by tunnels thinking the darkness is from heavy rain resulting in them switching on at full speed.
The auto-lights, unsurprisingly, won’t switch on when there’s fog.
